If you love mosaics, you are going to love the application for Windows, Tile Mosaic Maker. There is much to like about the application: simple installation process, user friendly interface, wizard that will help you create your custom mosaic, the option to use your own tiles, the option to choose any image you want and turn it into a mosaic, easily create a mosaic design and construction plan.

Should you decide to give Tile Mosaic Maker a try, you must know that the first thing you must do is download a 16.6Mb archive onto your PC. Inside the archive there’s an executable – run it and you will be presented with a simple setup wizard that will help you install the application on your PC. You can install Tile Mosaic Maker on a PC powered by any Windows edition, anything from Windows XP up to Windows 8.

There are two buttons in the lower left hand corner of the application’s interface:
Browser My Projects – click if you want to open a Tile Mosaic Maker project.
Create New Mosaic – go for this option if you want to create a new mosaic.
The panel located on the right side of the application’s interface displays the application’s version info and lists buttons which allow you to buy the full version, view a sample gallery of mosaics created with the application, open the official Tile Mosaic Maker website, access the About menu, and exit the application.

A wizard will help you create a mosaic. You will have to go through the following steps to create a new project:
Step 1 – select the tiles that are already in the library or import your own tiles.
Step 2 – give the project a name and choose where to store all the files related to the project.
Step 3 – choose the tiles that will be used for the mosaic.
Step 4 – pick a mosaic pattern, set the grout line size and color, select the tile size and count.
Step 5 – select an image; it will be converted into a mosaic.
Step 5 – render the mosaic.
Step 6 – export the mosaic picture and work plan. Please note that the trial version only allows you to export the work plan.

There are two Tile Mosaic Maker editions to choose from: Standard and Professional Edition. Get the Standard Edition if you want to work with small and medium size projects. If you’re planning on working with huge size projects, get the Professional Edition.

As I said at the start, if you love mosaics, you’re going to love Tile Mosaic Maker!

Pros

Downloading and installing Tile Mosaic Maker on your Windows PC will take little time and effort. Check out some sample mosaics on the application’s official website. A wizard will guide you through all the steps you need to take to create a mosaic. You can use your own tiles. You can pick a custom image to be turned into a mosaic. You can export the mosaic picture and a handy work plan. There are two Tile Mosaic Maker editions to choose from.
